The Repatriation Office
At the core of Sam's story is the Repatriation Office. A fictional department within the foreign office tasked with returning UK citizens home from across the globe.
Its team members work with foreign governments to ensure those UK nationals in trouble abroad have all the support required to arrive back safely. Cases include arranging for the recently deceased to be transported back to their families back home. Working with local police forces to ensure that all cases involving a British passport holder is carried out fairly and correctly. To going out and actively searching for missing individuals. The Repatriation Office will bring them all home.
Sam Taylor is one of the case officers tasked with completing these changes. A former Captain in the Royal Military Police force his background is in investigation and police work. All of which provide him with the skills to survive.
